I have setup the Supporting Member option. If you are interested in making a donation and becoming a Supporting Member you can pay with credit card here.
The donation goes toward paying for server hosting costs and toward the annual donation to the UNI Athletic fund. Regular Supporting Membership is $50 annually and $25 for students.
I’ve set it up so that Supporting Members will get a graphic under their username on posts recognizing them as a Supporting Member. Also Supporting Members will be allowed to upload their own avatars. Finally Supporting Members will get access to the new Panther Den forum. This is exclusively for Supporting Members and isn’t visible to the public.
None of the existing forums will change and if you decide not to donation nothing will change for you. There is no penalty for not donating.
If you have any questions please... [Read More]

The Midwest Agenda: Empty Calories |
|
Dec 07, 2009 - 7:34 PM - by Marc Wigim

Welcome to a special EARLY edition this week as I will try my very hardest to make it to the McLeod tomorrow night through 15 feet of snow and won't be able to do this then. Enjoy!
It seems like Illinois State has gone through this a lot in the past couple of seasons, or maybe that's just me. At any rate, the Redbirds are at 7-0, but no one cares. A lot of this stems from the fact that ISU Red's strength of schedule is pitiful, with a game against Utah being their only true non-conference test.

If Tim Jankovich's plan is to just win the MVC tournament come March and get into the dance that way, then I won't say another word. I have to think that's totally bunk, since being at the top of the Missouri Valley Conference standings has always yielded consideration for a bid at the very least. At least Cuonzo Martin at Missouri State took a... [Read More]

Starting now, every Tuesday I will do a weekly recap of all the Midwestern Men's Basketball conferences, with a blurb on UNI. I hope you enjoy...
The Midwest Agenda: Conferences, Schmonfrences

Let's be frank: this is going to be one of those features too. That doesn't mean that this can't be worthwhile, though. It's about high time someone give you the lowdown on midwest basketball, regardless of conference. I hope you'll invite me in and let me do that. After all, I have to do SOMETHING with the 20+ hours a week I spend watching college hoops.
Pantherology
First things first: let's talk UNI. The Cats enter Ames at 4-1 with a modestly impressive win over ACC also-ran Boston College. Tomorrow will find the Purple and Gold back in Hilton to take on an old... [Read More]
