I have setup the Supporting Member option. If you are interested in making a donation and becoming a Supporting Member you can pay with credit card here.
The donation goes toward paying for server hosting costs and toward the annual donation to the UNI Athletic fund. Regular Supporting Membership is $50 annually and $25 for students.
I’ve set it up so that Supporting Members will get a graphic under their username on posts recognizing them as a Supporting Member. Also Supporting Members will be allowed to upload their own avatars. Finally Supporting Members will get access to the new Panther Den forum. This is exclusively for Supporting Members and isn’t visible to the public.
None of the existing forums will change and if you decide not to donation nothing will change for you. There is no penalty for not donating.

The football season is underway, and the Panthers are off to a strong start. They are lead by the immovable Mark Farley, and are clearly a team on a mission. The fans are on board, and all seems to be well.
So why am I struggling so much?
The summer of 2011 saw me trying to recuperate and manage something I never thought would happen to me. I was diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic in May, and have spent that time since trying to make sense of a strange and scary new world for me. It's an awful feeling, to say the least. I have delusions of persecution, and sometimes have trouble trusting even my closest friends for fear that they are in on a grand and ridiculous conspiracy. I would never wish these kinds of feelings on my worst enemy.
It isn't all bad, though. I continue to believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel for me. I find what works... [Read More]
