I see Iowa, ISU, and UNI all taking steps backward.
What do you guys think?

UNI will be the one that can best sustain what it did this season if it has decent guard play with Coleman and Stout returning. SIU should be the MVC favorite though, and Creighton will be tough.
Iowa will be playing for the NIT, and Iowa State will be competing with Missouri to stay out of the cellar. I hope for the Clones sake they don't find themselves being handed a significant NCAA penalty.

Creighton, SIU, Wichita, Missouri St and Bradley are all going to be really good again next year. We have to have Travis Brown and some of the new guys have to step up and replace what those seniors have done. I think 6th place next year is about where we will fall!!

Wichita State will lose Miller and Wilson I think.

Wilson is back, and Miller is the only one in the top 8 that graduates.

I think we need to open out bench more and get more guys in the rotation. I mean Northwestern State played 9 guys on a rotation and they were fresh and able to wear IOWA down. I think coach Mac should look into getting some serious playing time from his bench next year. We just ran out of gas in every single game down the stretch.

Agreed that UNI is in the best position to maintain where they have been.
A lot of limbo right now with Iowa and ISU programs.
Next year will be the most physically talented UNI team in years, they'll just be very green on the perimeter.

Will Iowa's one and out to Northwestern State diminish Steve Alford in the eyes of decision makers at IU?

I've said it before, but I really would be surprised if he gets offered the job.
