    UNI Women Get Commit:

    UNI Football Scrimmage Review:
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.

Farley's quotes at today's press luncheon:

    Go Panthers!
"...the Northern Iowa men's basketball team reached the ultimate highs before hitting a devastating low. Unexpected success, followed by unimaginable failure. And they owned it -- all of it -- for the world to see. Like men. Like leaders. Like champions -- in a way no tournament bracket could ever define."

Come to chat tonight...we will be discussing that.

Also, I read in the Courier that Ryan Schuler is not coming back to UNI football. It's really too bad.

We will be young at RT.....but I guess the whole line is young....
"We're not an ordinary school," said Fort. "We have tradition. We have a good team year after year. We rebuild, and it doesn't matter who we have coming back."

SC, I was at the scrimmage and thought the offense looked pretty solid....especially Sanders and Horne. Cory Lewis looked very good in the backfield too. Expect big things from our receiving corp...Jamie Goodwin looked very good....they ran a few reversals with him running the ball.

It was tough to know who was who...especially the new players and transfers as I only had last year's roster.

I think the defense is going to be just fine. We have a good group of linebackers who like to hit. Even the Safeties were getting in some good hits. One huge collision was Cutright catching a pass from Sanders at the goal line and a safety came up and just nailed him. He did hang onto the ball, but I think he got the wind knocked out of him.

BTW, the actual scrimmage didn't start until around 2 pm. They did drills from 12:30 - 2 pm.
