  • Tyree Talton

Why perusing the program after the Maine game; I came across the stats of receptions/touchdowns for the playoffs.

Of course the famous/infamous, Randy Moss stood out during Marshall's reign.
The part that really stood out is how UNI shut him down.

After a few moments of reflection, my son and I looked at each other and simultaneously said, "Ty Talton".

Neither of us could recall what happened to Ty. After the great defense against Moss, we assumed that we would watch Ty on Sundays.

    Hopefully someone can recall.

I thought Ty Talton was one of the best ever! He could play football.

Ah, Detroit, the place where good football players go to die.

Remember, that is where the greatest qb in the history of qb's went after he graduated, Chuck Long anyone? hahahahahaha

I think I found where he is.

          Second from the top...
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.

The previous post was a joke, BTW.

              Here is something from 2005

Check the C Group. Maybe he's in Chicago?

And Winder, I didn't know anyone had posted yet. As soon as I found the first website, I went to work on something legitimate. So, it looked like I posted something in response to you, but really, I was just clarifying for those who actually thought it was Ty! I didn't put the smiley face to let others know my 'emoticon-status'.

Glad you got a chuckle out of it!

                          Re: Tyree Talton

I remember a few things about Talton's career.

One is him holding Randy Moss to about 45 receiving yards in that playoff game vs. Marshall.

And I think it was his senior year when they got thin at RB, they put him in the backfield and gave him some carries. Remember him picking up some big first downs late in a game.
Winning is more fun than losing.
