  • Dec. 16 - National Championship Game

just wondering if anyone has figured out plans for tailgating on the road in Chattanooga? mrevents has talked about the pregame festival that will be put on but i'm wondering if there will be a PantherNation Tailgate for this game....

as someone that worked at football games through undergrad and has only been to one game in the last 3 years....as sad as it is to say.....this will be my first experience tailgating for a UNI game. man that is pathetic.....i've done some tailgating in my day....and i hope this one will be the best....

who's coming? what parking lot? what time? any info provided will be great.....PTTB, i know you can't wait to see the flags i'm bringing in from Indy!!

I hope you all don't mind an outsider butting in but I would love to meet some of you before the game Friday. My friend and I are staying at the Staybridge Suites just up the street from the stadium.

We'll arrive in Nooga Friday afternoon around 2:30.

Congrads on the win! Go Panthers!

My buddies and I are getting to Nooga sometime in the morning after driving straight through from CF and we're hoping to get right to tailgating

Speaking of tailgating...is there a good spot next to the stadium? Will there be an official UNI Alum tailgate? Athletic Club? Panther Nation?

It will all be across the street from the stadium at the First Tennessee Pavillion. That's where the will call is too.

Hey MrEvents, I'm doing your job!

Well, we're driving and we'll have an actual tailgate to park in the parking lot...tailgating fun anyone?

Hey 2317, Ralph posted a pic of the stadium and there appears to be a huge lot... I'm going to look for it and try to post it. That pavillion thing sounds all fun and nice but if we could get 10 or so cars all together we could have a great set-up with Panther fans. And then if people wanted to walk to the Pavillion, they'd have two options. Don't know about you all but I plan on starting the party much earlier than 4 p.m. at the pavillion.

I've got a flag poll and a UNI flag to fly, along with about 6 chairs.

              What do other people have???

                Here it is...

I say we all try to get in this lot or have someone with the best set-up and that would be a "gathering spot".

Again, I have a poll and flag but we'll be in my Intrepid with a crappy stereo so if someone has a much sweeter gig, we should all congregate there.

No offense to MrEvents, since he has been a great help, but this Pavillion thing sounds like you can't set up grills and bring in beer and you actually have to buy any beer and food there. It looks like the outdoor lot is the place to be.

We are counting on you PW. Your Panthermobile is going to be the focal point of the tailgate... didn't you get the memo??

i plan to get to the stadium/parking by 3:30 or 4:00...really just depends on how long this drive really takes from the southside of Indianapolis. i too would love to set up a whole line of panthernation cars and fly our flags with pride.... those coors light cooler boxes are pretty cool too....

but, stopping over at the alumni reception sounds like a good idea too....so many options....eventually there will need to be a panther nation executive decision, but who would make that decision????

B... we'll make this a tailgate for you to remember (or not remember, as the case may be after the game!!).

I'm all for organized alumni events but beer and brats and blasting music out of my car is much more my style and I'll save a lot of money this way.

Hope to be there plenty early. We're stopping in CF to pick up the rest of our posse and our tailgating gear. So excited!
