he was listed as No. 3 on the depth chart, according to the article
(meaning, very little chance of playing time at QB)

He was bypassed by a wunderkid Freshman. Mohler wasn't pretty, but he found a way to win most of the time. The other two are pretty green, with #1 Jensen missing about half of the season last year because of injuries.

Apparently there is a rumor floating that one of their core RBs Mike Sigers is borderline/having academic issues. Apparently was held out of spring practice to focus on books. Further rumors and innuendo @ Lakes Free Bisonville

happens with all teams, probably every year with some player(s) or another.
              happens at UNI too.

I understand that - you can't have 80-100 guys without someone having academic issues. Point is that Sigers was a far distant #2 RB to Norton, but still averaged over 6.5 ypc.

Where is Lakes btw? Did we actually manage to do what no other board has been able to accomplish without actually banning him?

You have to remember that when you are a member of approx. 4000 boards as he is it takes time to get to all of them.

Unless you've been banned from 3999 of them

Perhaps we shouldn't throw stones as we had two QBs leave the program this offseason.

do we have anyone that can accurately and reliably throw those stones?

No, but they can run out of the pocket like no one's business.
Raised a Hawkeye, Panther by choice.

Those two players graduated with degrees and decided that another year or football wasn't worth putting off a career. Slightly different than a QB just straight leaving and transferring.
