Weis has gone from offensive NFL mastermind to blowhard JV version of Watson Brown

Kansas is where football coaching careers go to die.

Cant wait until Cyclone fans tell us how awesome they are going to be when "CPR" hires him as a QB coach next year.

This is what is completely wrong with college football. He has a 5 year contract so he still gets 7 million for being a failure. No wonder athletes at some of the BCS schools want paid.

Nobody forced KU to sign a legal contract that guaranteed him 7 mil.
"I think they're very good," Farley said of the preseason top 25 Hawkeyes. "But so are we."

Jake & Farely have perpetually rolling contracts. That's the carrot that need to be dangled when a coach is on a hot streak. We are only lucky that a SIU or Kansas type of meltdown has not occurred to date.

I suppose it depends on the provisions within each contract.

I heard on the radio that Weiss was still getting a check from Notre Dame.

Charlie Weis must have the world's best agent. He just keeps getting jobs with huge pay days.

                    That is true.

And why Kansas was stupid to pay a high, unmotivated coach to such a long term lucrative contract.

Weis was a pretty good offensive coordinator. Know of any colleges that need one? #justsayin

This is true. He's going to get over 20 million to not coach two programs.

Maybe he'd come to UNI and become our OC for free, just to keep busy.
