  • David Johnson & D Hall hosting a football camp

    Just saw this on Twitter.
David Johnson and Deiondre Hall are teaming up with a sports marketing group to host a youth (6-16) football camp in Cedar Falls this summer.

I don't have any kids, nor do I know anything about football camps. But I thought this looked like a neat event, so I figured I'd at least mention it here.

We got our boys signed up immediately and so did many of our friends. An absolute awesome event - $15 for coaching from the two for four hours, a dri-fit tshirt and a picture opportunity. For ages 6 to 16. At CF High. Good for these guys for wanting to come back and give back to the community and their youngest fans. Very proud of both of them - but not at all surprised.
"...the Northern Iowa men's basketball team reached the ultimate highs before hitting a devastating low. Unexpected success, followed by unimaginable failure. And they owned it -- all of it -- for the world to see. Like men. Like leaders. Like champions -- in a way no tournament bracket could ever define."
