McNeese moves up with a loss and we drop 2 spots for not playing.

McNeese was in a place to win at Nebraska, in front of a national offense. Give them credit - the cornholes needed a last minute 60+ yard miracle toss to avoid OT.

        +1.

Also, the "Paladins" of Furman? How have I missed that until now?

Curious why they nobody is giving the trees any credit. I think they'll be a tough out this year.

Some of the other polls/surveys respect them this week:

MVFC has 4 in the top 8 and 7 ranked high enough to make the playoffs. But by the time we get done playing each other we'll worry if more than 3 will get in.

Only NDSU will get in if the others don't win 8 or more - of that we can be certain. Meanwhile, the Ohio Valley will get at least 3 teams. Sucks being in a league where we beat the hell out of each other and reduce our number of playoff teams. We get penalized for being a great league.

Find out what the other team wants to do, then take it away from them.

Yep, looks like the MVFC only deserves two bids again this year.

Eastern washington's DI opponents have averaged 46 points against EWU. The same opponents have averaged 16 points per game over 7 DI games (not counting the EWU game)

Does anyone know how that rating works exactly? I've always wondered that, there's an awful lot of information there. Looks like a glob of different rankings and they throw out the highest and lowest ranking for each team? Is it just an average from there?
