  • Pelini to Youngstown St.

This is a big get for Youngstown St. and for the MVCFB. I don't know how well he will recruit but I would bet his defense will be solid. Can't wait to beat him next year! GO CATS!

I don't think UNI plays them next year...

Fortunately, it's probably only going to be for a few years.

Doesn't matter---should be an improvement over Wolford.

It will be interesting to see how he manages the intricacies of partial & out of state scholarships. That said, we does have all of Ohio & Pittsburgh to recruit at in state rates.

              Overall, should make life easier

YSU is becoming a team with a lot more out of state recruits as there are 10 other Division 1 schools in Ohio--back in the 90's local talent there was abundant, now its practically non-existant--it will be interesting to me to see where Bo goes to recruit--I know Wolford was planning on hitting the Chicago area hard this winter but that is now a moot point.

                    Pelini + Tressel

What a combination. Any bets on how long it takes before YSU goes back to their old ways of shady recruiting and under the table deals?

I can't believe this type of thing ever happens in college football--Tressel is just the exception to a squeaky clean profession---this surely explains all the national titles he won---shame on that cheater!

I wonder if Bo will need to wear a sweater vest on the sidelines as part of the deal?

This is especially irrelevant when talking about the FCS where we don't see the type of widespread crookedness found in most SEC type programs.
