Default Big-Ten Pushing for Increase in Student-Athletes

Via DMR: Mid Majors Shudder at the idea of Big-Ten increasing payments to athletes

Dannen’s athletic expenditures in ’09-10 amounted to $13.7 million. The same database decreed that Iowa had 618 student-athletes, giving a projected cost of $1.85 million. The Hawkeyes’ expenditures for ’09-10 were $74.2 million.
If those were our expenditures just last year, I'd cringe to see what increasing payments to student-athletes would do.

What's the website that lists the expenses and what not for college athletic departments? I always forget to bookmark it.
