Seeing OL coming in at 270, 280 and 300 is a nice change.

From the highlight reels, looks like Peine is a lean 270 and has speed. Neisen just knocks people down ... a LOT.

          Per Twitter...

An OL from Glendale CC is Arizona offered by the Panthers tonight. Appears there's a former Panther player on the coaching staff there.

Also two DBs from Deerfield Beach, FL offered as well. One SS and one CB.

All seem genuinely excited about the prospect. Despite fear the world was ending tomorrow by some on PN.com...

            Re: Class of 2017--Football Recruits

Apparently UNI has pulled their scholarship offer to Denzel Fondungallah...A WR from the Twin Cities who committed a month or so ago.

            Hate to see that.

However...It is noteworthy that when he committed, he said he was committing to UNI but also keeping his recruiting open.

His Twitter post said he was informed that with coaching changes at UNI, they informed him the offense has decided to go in a different direction. Guess we'll see what that means on signing day.

OK...Strap on your seat belts folks.

The recruit has now posted on Twitter that Farley has now contacted him directly and told him that someone from his staff (or formerly on staff) has fed him incorrect information and his scholarship has NOT been pulled.

Denzel then says with all the craziness in the last hour he is still not committed to UNI.

              W...T...F is going on?!?!

And now Farley has called him and said his offer was never pulled.

Assistants are feeding him lies. Assistants likely no longer with the program.

And also likely interested in him at their new school.

I'm sure this happens, but what a mess. The mass exodus of offensive assistants makes it that much more likely this year.

Does anyone have an updated list of the kids who have committed so far?

There are rules against tampering. May be hard to prove and you see kids follow the coach that recruited them at times, but there are rules about this. Will see if UNI tries to make anything of it.

I think Farley just set that in motion by quickly contacting the recruit after a former assistant likely tampered. If the kid doesn't want to come to UNI, fine, but I would also make anyone tampering suffer as well. Watch to see if anything comes out about East Carolina or any other landing spot of a former assistant....

There certainly seems like a case of tampering, though if it was an assistant without a job at the time of the phone call (potentially someone like Barkema) there is no action that can be taken. Now, if it was Lynch or Paup (massive stretch to think that's the case as of now ) and then ECU or Minnesota all of a sudden throws an offer his way it's fair to assume tampering "charges" will be pressed by UNI.

I would also put a bunch of money on Farley knowing who did it, and looking for potential action to take against said coach, even if they aren't coaching. There might be provisions that would follow a coach should he take another job.
