Making it to the final cut of modern candidates the vote puts him in a good spot for next year.
Anyone know who presented to the voters for Warner? I've read that the discussion following presentation went just over 27 minutes for Warner, one of the longer ones (DeBartlo, Jr., went 50+, Owens 43+, Greene 27+ were longer discussions).
As for presentations, NFLN reported that the person presenting the nonimation for Favre said, "Brett Favre," and dropped the mic."Well, that escalated quickly."

Re: Warner among 25 PFHoF semi-finalists for 2016
I think Warner goes in next year. Along with TO as well.
There was no way they were going to put Warner in the same year as Favre.
They typically only put in one modern era QB a year. With the timing of Favre and Warner's careers overlapping as they have...plus the little bit of history they have with each other...they wouldn't put them in at the same time. It would take away a bit of the spotlight from Favre and the NFL won't do that.
I think Kurt knew that's how this would go down. But he's positioned for a 2017 induction.Winning is more fun than losing.
