    Re: Xavier Williams in NFL

Xavier Williams is playing tonight. Might be the first game that he's been on the active roster for since the preseason.

Xavier had a solo tackle in the first half against the 49ers.

And DJ has another touchdown. A 1 yd run but they all count for 6!

              KC Star, 7/30:

"Raider-hating is a Kansas City fan thing. It also comes naturally to this Chief

You can take defensive tackle Xaiver Williams out of Kansas City, which occurred when the former Grandview High standout played his first three NFL seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.

But you can’t take KC out of Williams, especially when it comes to playing against the Chiefs’ traditional rivals, the Oakland Raiders.

Although he was wearing a cardinal on his helmet in recent seasons in Arizona, Williams said he felt something deeper when he stepping onto the field against Oakland when the Cardinals and Raiders met in a preseason game."

              Entire read at:
              "Well, that escalated quickly."

Glad he is going home. He is playing for one of my favorite NFL coaches in Andy Reid. I hope he does well in KC.

Xman with a sack and pressure on the next play against the Rams. Only in the second quarter.

Its amazing to look back at how unbelievably stacked our 2014 team was.

                    David Johnson
                    Xavier Willams
                    Dieondre Hall
                    Mackinton Dorleant
                    Karter Schult

All those guys made it to the NFL in some capcity, and that doesnt even count the many others that made it to camps.

Kilfoy, Lemaster, Vereen, Rummels, McMackin, Farley, Ales, Busher, Mitchell, Kollmorgen.

Incredible. The coaching staff should be imprisoned for losing 5 games with that roster.

                        Good luck to Big X.

Would love to see him get a ring with his hometown Chiefs.

                          Good game by X.
When the Pa-cheat-riats went up by 3 with 2:00 left in the game, I said the Chiefs should blitz and cover short passes. If they go long, let them have the TD.

I felt that the probability of winning by keeping Brady & Co from scoring in 2 minutes was very low.
The probability of the Chiefs winning by scoring in 1:30 seemed much higher.

Not quite a "Let them score" move like 2012 Pats, but similar.

Signed by the Patriots as a free agent on 8/22, waived in the final cuts and resigned to the Patriots' practice squad last weekend:

All of the 24 players released by the Patriots on Saturday went unclaimed on the waiver wire, which allowed the Patriots to place any of them on their 16-man practice […]
