Just in time for the Iowa State game and start of the Gateway season, a visit from the Oracle of UNI known as The Great Marc-Lenko will now make his predictions for the rest of the year.
UNI vs. Iowa State: UNI will take the field to nervous boos and taunts from a wary set of Iowa State faithful. A hard fought affair ensues, highlighted by beautiful performances from Eric Sanders and The Deadly Trifecta of ISU known as Meyer, Hicks, and Blythe. UNI pulls a shocking 34-31 upset, sending ISU fans spiraling into depression. They are saved by the announcement of the final score from Iowa City: Ohio State 55, Iowa 10.
UNI vs. Missouri State: A large contigency of unfathomably hungover students boost UNI to a 40-13 win over Terry Allen's bunch. Terry Allen's plan to give them free cases of S'more-flavored Schnapps backfires as it kind of has a Popeye-like effect on the students. Despite obvious inebriation, no riots are reported for the tenth straight year.
UNI vs. Indiana State: UNI wins in Terre Haute by a 62-42 margin over a newly-dangerous Indiana State offense. Hindered and exhausted by the high-flying, fast-moving nature of the game, Mark Farley decides to subsitute UNI basketball center Eric Coleman late in the game to provide fresh bodies. The Indiana State d-line is decimated. There are no survivors.
