Lots of combined numbers for the three Regents schools within the article, but the UNI-specific numbers:

- UNI's enrollment for Fall 2021 is down 3.1% from Fall '20 (total enrollment or undergrad? article simply states enrollment)
- UNI's in-state enrollment for Fall 2021 is 10,842 (total enrollment or undergrad? article simply states enrollment)
- UNI reports 92% of undergraduate enrollment is from Iowa

- Incoming community college transfers to UNI were down 6% last fall and down 11% this fall

- UNI's first-year undergrad enrollments are up 5% in Fall '21
- UNI reports 12% of first-year students as multi-racial
- UNI reports 25% of first-year students as first-generation students

Not to complain and complain and complain, but UNI has done a terrible job selling its value to students and the state government.

Now, I don't think we're going to end up a satellite campus. If there were an existing "system" in Iowa, and we were outside it, my concern would be completely different. As it is, there aren't *that* many savings in going the "system" route.

I think that the education system should be changed by the leadership. Especially the online learning system needs to be improved.
