Could our school be whiter?

Wow, where was that from? Are those the new freshmen? I could count the number of non white faces on one hand and have fingers left over. The war on diversity initiatives is apparently having the effect those that pushed banning those initiatives wanted.

Not a surprise since the majority of UNI students are from Cedar Falls and the rural communities, which are overwhelmingly white. The academic majors are education and accounting, traditionally not career fields for minorities. Athletes play a very small role in student population, and depending when this video / picture was made, those students may not have been there due to practice.

Who cares? To be part of the student body, members of all races have to actually apply and want to be here. There is no evidence they are being discriminated against or somehow kept out as a matter of policy. I imagine exactly the opposite is true. Worry much more about the total numbers than the racial mix. That is the current problem.
