Panther Nation-
One of my favorite times of the year when I was a kid is coming up. Sports Camp Time! If you have kids, I highly recommend it. I have been to many, many camps in my day, but UNI Sports Camps have really been the one I have enjoyed the most. If you have teams that you are coaching (or kids who play on them), I highly recommend having your kids bring their team(s) to camp. Ten air conditioned courts can't be beat (if you are going to basketball camp) and the UNI-Dome and practice fields for football. Regardless of the sports, UNI camps are a great deal of fun. Kids have opportunities to go to Iowa, Iowa State, and other such "name" camps. I can guarantee you that your kids will not receive as much individual attention for less money than at UNI. I have talked to other PantherNation posters about this in the past, and they have brought up stories about their disappointing experiences at other big name school camps.
Anyway, camp time is nearing, and if you would like more information, you can check out this link: http://unipanthers.collegesports.com...iwa-camps.html
A new feature they have added is online registration, which is very convenient.
In addition, I would like to put a special plug in for the Big Man/Guard Camp at UNI. This camp has been dubbed as being just as good as the well respected Snow Valley Camp in Waverly (plus I think it's cheaper). I thought this would be a great place to put a plug in for Panther Athletic Camps! It's also a great way to support your favorite school!!!
It's also a great way to say Happy Birthday to your kids, grandkids, or kids you mentor. Also, for those grandkids out of the area, it's a great way to have the grandkids for a week, and not be too boring!!! Haha...just kidding grandparents! Go Panthers!
