Beat me to it. that UNI-NDSU game is going to be HUGE. Anyone know if Becks/Peppers/Mulligans get Fox College Central? According to the Bizons website that is the channel the game is on.
Oh, and let me make this perfectly clear to you people: you go to UNI, NOT IOWA. The Hawkeyes and their fans do not give a crap if you remain "true to them" or some stupid self-fulfulling bullcrap like that.-OTP

Really? We have to beat a surprising ISUblue team and an always tough SIU team before that.

While I agree that those games will be tough, I don't think either of those teams are in the "top-tier" of the MVFC. Now SIU is ALWAYS tough, but they have not shown me anything this year that has me feeling they are on the same level as NDSU(primarily due to two games, so my view could change) they play WIU this weekend so we will see how they stack up, and talk to me then.
ISUblue, while I like everyone else here is happy to see the Trees coming into their own, and they have moved into the "2nd tier" of the valley from doormat I just don't think they are quite there to challenge for a MVFC title. Other than that, I feel that the BIG matchup in the Valley is going to be in Fargo on Oct. 29.

                My Valley Tiers
                1st Tier
                UNI
                NDSU
                2nd Tier
                SIU
                ISUb
YSU(can go between 2nd and third)
                SDSU(see YSU)
                3rd Tier
                ISUr
                MSU
                WIU

Cappy I think they are legit, they didn't squeak by one or two, they beat them by TWO TDS. I think the Oct 8 game in Carbondale will be a good measure of how they play.

My buddy at SIU would kill me if he heard me say this but I think it goes UNI, NDSU, Indy St. and THEN SIU in the league this year. And I don't think its that close between 2nd and 3rd...Indy and SIU havent sold me yet

SIU was 1-3 against division I competition last year going into our game with them (and a win against sub-D1 Quincy) and many considered them "unimpressive".
But they proceeded to beat UNI.

Granted, that game was in Carbondale. Still, the Salukis should never be overlooked.

UNI-SIU is always a great game regardless of either teams particular talent that year. Everytime and never disappoints. That's why they are our main rivals. I'm not saying we should overlook them but NDSU has looked much better so far.

My buddy even confessed that it had not been happy times in the SIU locker rooms after some of the games so far. Even after Saturday the coaches were disappointed in their play
