im not sure how its set up, but im guessing learfield sold the rights to kwwl/psn and its up to kcwi to pick it up. thats a business decision to be made while up against two other games of local interest.

Bad, very bad decision by Leerfield.

Agreed. I loved watching the UNI games on KCWI, and I wrote many a thank you letter to them for doing so.

I talked to Channel 23 about it last week- they said it was a Leerfield/University decision to move the games- they want all the UNI they can get at KCWI!
They've been good supporters!

Last year channel 23 carried a couple games... could watch the games anywhere!

Amen. Don't know if it's a marketing thing or costs for the station, but I know that a lot of non-UNI fans would watch us play. CH. 23 is missing the boat unless the game is a financial loser.
