i just found it odd. what goes around comes around, i wouldnt want an opponent saying something similar about a panther. you are entitled to your opinion though.

personally- i cant stand hampton. based on my own experience hes a thug, a troublemaker, and has blown a couple good opportunities already. it would help UNI if he does it again

I didn't call him out. I just described the facts as they happened on the field.

Don't get your black and gold bloomers in a bunch there sally.

The fact that I mentioned UNI nearly beating Iowa got you upset? Seriously? Should I just never mention the word "Iowa" ever again in your presence? Didn't realize it was that sensitive with you. Grow up, I thought you had a kid

And its the fact that someone mentioned that he didn't attempt to shake anyone's hand that kind of ridiculous. If we had someone not do that either than that's just as embarrassing. I didn't necessarily mean to call out one player as much as I meant to call out anyone who can't shake hands before or after a game

And funny you mention flag football 9YR...anyone else notice that none of the youth teams that played at halftime shook hands afterwards? I found that strange as did almost every other student around me.
Actually the blue/red teams did shake hands. Not sure about the other two, but they ran a play that went long, which might have shortened the time that they needed to get off the field in time.

I thought all in all that SIU had a lot of good looking athletes on the field. Maybe not quite as deep as they've been in the past, but they definately had some athletes.

Found that interesting as I've heard a lot of commentary about Dale Lennon's sub-standard recruiting.

I always buy a program and look over the hometowns of the opposing team's players. Always find it interesting what geography each team pulls most of their recruits from.

SIU had a very wide breadth of locations on their roster. Players from the southeastern states and the west coast were not uncommon. UNI has far more players from Iowa and SIU has from Illinois. And I think they are a fairly young team.

I think they'll be pretty solid over the next few years.

Because Jewel Hampton has so many years' invested in competing for SIU vs UNI. Oh yeah -

Probably had to back to his Fan Club appearance a.k.a. the Rick Coleman post game interview.
