A chanticleer is a rooster. Not sure if its a certain breed but if you look up,the Coastal Carolina logo you see an angry looking rooster. I only know this because I had a buddy go to school at coastal and of course we all asked him the hell a chanticleer was when he told us their mascot. I believe their football program is most notable for not have having any "dawgs...we need dawgs!" Too many cats caring about their socks and their armbands over a CCU

They must have inside knowledge that Missouri St is finally in their last year of their planned 12 year rebuilding program.
