I believe that when a committee member's own team is being discussed, that person has to leave the room. Or maybe they just can't "vote". But there is some rule like that in place.

It is very important to be represented, even if not directly participating in discussion of UNI...

people label under the misconception that the NCAA sets up the bracket with only team merit in mind.

That is not the case. Team merit is only one factor, but they also try to minimize travel costs, maximize ticket sales, and politics come into play as well.

If NDSU runs the table,and the panthers too,the Bison will be seeded #1 and lowest for the Panthers would #3. I cant see the ncaa screwing this up again!!!!

As a Bison fan you are still relatively new to this whole playoff selection thing. You will learn. You will learn.

that projection has Montana coming to the UNI-Dome for the second-round game. Which would be an interesting situation, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it happening.

UNI still has some tough games left. Tougher than anything that Towson has. It's possible that they could lose one, especially with the injury situation. And that would land them in about the 7-seed spot.
