    What in the hell are you talking about? The only time UNI has not had a good coach was in the Earle Bruce & Mike Dunbar era's. Other than that, UNI has had very good coaches. Mark Farley is the best UNI coach they have ever had for a school that has a very rich history in football tradition. To say otherwise is pure folly.

    History has shown it doesn't take good coaching to win at UNI.

    That being said, I think Farley is a good coach. Not a great coach, but a good coach.

    Hmmmm.....

    The idiot who lost to Southern Illinois,

    is also the genius who beat Iowa State.

    Answers are always so easy and obvious. Personally, I think it was the refs fault.

    Ron Zook is a terrible comparison, Farley actually wins games.

    If you want to make any comparison, it's Frank Solich. And look what happened to Nebraska after they decided that wasn't good enough.

    Farley has earned the right to decide when his time here is done, within reason of course.

Example: lets say UNI wins its proverbial annual(as if UNI gets 10 wins every year, lol) 10 win season and goes 10-2 or 10-3. But never wins a National Championship. There are fans on hear that will think all is great because in their minds "we win 10 games every year and have a great winning percentage". So go ahead and keep accepting the idea that winning 10 games is great even if UNI never wins the Natty.
