  • Off Season 2021

Big spring and summer for the Panthers coming up. Need an OC and will likely see turnover elsewhere as well.

so far I have seen Jaylin Richardson and Kenden Robinson hit the portal.

Jackson Martens (LB) also in the transfer portal.

Panthers have a commitment from Bradrick Shaw, a RB who is transferring from Cal. Formerly played at Wisconsin.

Seeing a lot of offers going out for the Panthers.

Will be interesting to see who is coming back for the "extra year".

this will be the first time when the "off season" is really mostly just one season (summer, and spring for those, like UNI, not in the playoffs)
where as in a normal year, the "off season" covers winter, spring, and summer.

So non scholarship FCS is coming soon.

good luck selling that crap to the fans.

NDSU SDSU and ND have got to be thrilled.

The Pioneer league is non-scholly, and has been. So, what's new?

Maybe that’s where UNI ends up after Farley runs the program completely into the toilet.

attendance is going to crater in a big way. Unless the four or five old farts that keep the program alive have a lot of friends.

He was running into the terlet last year as well according to you, only to have the team come on strong in the end, get into post-season, and make a run in post season.

                  Great call AGAIN!

Which winning percentage is better? 61% or 66%?

It is what it is. It was always going to happen.

I just hope we can get a post covid attendance/interest bump to avoid the full fledge apathy I am afraid of. A competent offense would be a big first step.

If it gets the Dome done, as the release implies, I guess it's worth it.

Other than that, the crowd goes mild.

You just cant really justify firing him or not renewing his contract, we have had successes. Yet it is indisputable that the program is not what it once was and still could/should be. The standard has precipitously fell the last 10 years.

Finishing 2nd or 3rd in the conference and getting to 8-9 wins feels like our ceiling now.

It is what it is, I guess.

Agreed that you cant/wouldnt fire him. I had slight hope that he would resign. No one loves UNI more than him and the current state has to pain him. (But I also knew this wouldn't happen)
