Don't be all hurt because I said how people view Troy - and it's not really a secret. It's not simply a "me" thing with Troy.

This isn't new news. This isn't something I'm making up. He's been out of Iowa long enough most have forgotten about him, but his reputation for how he conducted himself and his ego is of his own making.

That doesn't mean he hasn't been, and isn't good, at what he does. Many top officials aren't "good" people.

That's a legitimate concern. But could it be worse than what we have now? I will bet if Farley isn't going to be AD, he will be on the search committee. Hopefully he will realize what we need in an AD and get them here.

The no love lost with Dannen is/was he's just kind of a pompous prick slimeball rat. That isn't just UNI fans that thought that, that was every single AD that had to work with him when he was at the girls union.

The difference is that Dannen knew how to use that to his advantage and make things happen.

David has none of that. None of the charisma. None of the mentality to get donations. None of the mentality to be the face. None of the drive to think big.

Dannen was such a little *****. he was fighting with us in row 1 during a ndsu/uni game cocking off to us and ****... then NDSU kicked your ass and he slithered away like a *****.

Speculation but he was interim AD twice. He's not getting any younger and as others have said, he may want to have a say in who succeeds him now that Harris is gone.

I think in an ideal world we get someone with a UNI connection, I don't exactly know what that has to be, but I think in order to sell UNI you have to truly feel it.
