Iowa State could be a top 25 team too, given how well Campbell’s recruited. That assumes he sticks around, and they aren’t killed by the transfer portal. That’s also true of just about any team in Iowa State’s general category in football.

So, at season's end Mark is let go, replaced by some guy with 80 percent of the ability, no new stadium, and continue to recruit the same. Thanks for the warning four years in advance. Peace out.

For 2027 let's just play Ohio State, UCLA, Clemson, Oregon, Purdue, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas State, Utah, and Alabama with no bye in between. We're so broke why not get paid. Go independent to boot.

Nah seriously, I wish we would stop scheduling top 70 schools. We get our teeth kicked in and don't get paid enough for the trouble

I mean I'd very seriously would rather see this than what we're doing this year, which is to say, losing to Illinois State at home. Bring in a couple extra million, accidentally win one of these, Mizzou ain't nothin', get the name of the school out there more. I'm down

I'd just rather us schedule New Mexico, New Mexico State, Colorado State, Kent State etc. Get underpaid, but win.
