we can hear all the coach speak about Dunne's leadership this summer and fall... but Daley or Sheckelman have to be more accurate... but it also may not be fair to throw them to the wolves at Nebraska.

the RB's look great...having two backs average over 6 per carry should make it easier to throw the ball.

He's making Aaron Bailey and Carnes seem like accurate passers...and Dunne for a kid who ran the ball from the QB spot in HS he doesn't seem to run much... at least the previous two inaccurate passers were elite runners at the QB position.

Is it even safe for this team to play Nebraska next week? Seems like a player safety issue

Welp. Someone get on deleting that game from the archives, yuck. Props to St. Thomas though. They played like they wanted it. Felt like we had no idea what we were doing half the time. Only bright spot it our RB's since our WR's don't really get a chance to catch it all that often.

Had a great time at the game today, and I sat next to two former UNI players, one from the late '90s, and another from the early 2000s.

The second one turned around to me in the middle of the third quarter and said, " didn't we used to be good? We're not good."

At least we got to reminisce about the good old days to take our mind off of whatever that was today. Oof. Going to be a rough year.
Give us a yell, HO! The purple and the gold
            Victory for U-N-I!

Find out what the other team wants to do, then take it away from them.

Speaking of QBs, I thought Dailey had the second string won, then why didn't he play last week, Schecklman instead? Anybody have any inside info on that?

I'm really feeling good about our win over Notre Dame today.
Winning is more fun than losing.

Not gonna lie….not happy with the performance today. 25 minutes of time of possession isn’t gonna get it done. I hear of all these quarterbacks we have and qb play today was McNamara like. Gotta get the ball to these receivers. Bright side I guess is 2-0 is 2-0. Not lookin forward to Lincoln or Hawaii or sdsu. Hope our ad can get some things rolling to pump some life back into this. Pretty lackluster today.

Remember how fun UNI football Saturdays used to be? What a bummer.

think the team was looking past the Tommies? Listening to the radio broadcast, it sounded like a bunch of unforced errors by the Panthers.

It was ugly all around. Never should've been that close. Let's hope that's what it was because, woof.

Special teams especially - one FG hits the bar, blocked punt, offsides on a ST FG attempt all in the first half.

On kickoffs, Palmer has a knack for dropping a line drive kick into the corner between the 5 and just into the end zone (on the kicking team's left) - almost a Coffin Corner KO. I think his first two did that and then sent the next one through the end zone. In the second half, the ST returner did return one the was sent into the that left corner, grabbing it around the 2 and ran a lot (across the field) to take it out to the 25. On those kickoffs where Palmer aims for that location, the coverage lines up heavy on the left as well.

Edwards dropped a pass on the first drive that likely would have been a touchdown and on the next play, Prior was tackled by the DB in the end zone on what was a missed PI while the ball was in the air. D line was struggling against their line and dbacks missed some assignments. LBs were pretty solid.

Lots of St. Thomas injuries (and lots of loss of helmets on the St. Thomas side).

It was a beautiful day and nice to have UNI in the Twin Cities. But it was an ugly win.
