I do know that the coaches are doing an Iowa Blitz this week where they are trying to meet as many coaches around the state as they can.

We've gotten a transfer from Iowa today, a Waverly kid at TE. We also offered a Drake transfer (their best defensive player) that is getting G5 offers, as well as Montana and New Hampshire.

Well one less at large bid next year. I think this is a great thing for FCS football.
The Ivy League will participate in the FCS playoffs beginning in the 2025 season. ESPN's Pete Thamel first reported the news.
If computers ruled college basketball the way they do football, we'd have skipped all this March Madness monotony and just waited a month for the Kansas-Kentucky title game. And watched Northern Iowa play Cornell in the Poulan Weedeater Bowl. ~ Dwight Perry The Seattle Times

I agree they should have done this years ago. They compete in the basketball tournament they should in football too.

Logan Meyer, who was the Director of Operations, has been promoted to the title of General Manager.

It's good to see that he's been so integral in the transition process and Stepsis has recognized this. Sounds like Logan was a big reason for many of our players returning back and coming back from the portal per the article.

Really great to see how active the new staff has been on Social Media. The last staff didn't put the effort in there, and X has become the place for recruiting/program buzz.

                    100%. Social media matters tremendously.
"...the Northern Iowa men's basketball team reached the ultimate highs before hitting a devastating low. Unexpected success, followed by unimaginable failure. And they owned it -- all of it -- for the world to see. Like men. Like leaders. Like champions -- in a way no tournament bracket could ever define."

                    • Joey Woodley to Drake seems like a great fit and opportunity for him.

                      • Jimmy Rogers is leaving SDSU and going to Washington St. They have enough money and resources, so I'm curious where they go for that gig.

Wazu has been cleaned out by the portal pretty good so Rogers will have to bring in at least a couple dozen guys for 2025 season.

Winning is more fun than losing.

And how many guys on the current SDSU roster are gonna follow him to WSU? My guess is that SDSU will look a lot different next year.

And they didn't bother to build the foundation that NDSU did, there's going to be a fall.

NDSU got very, very lucky that the transfer portal didn't exist in its current form, NIL wasn't yet around, and they had a coach who stayed much longer than you'd ever expect today, given their level of success.
