I'm not totally sure that Drake and Indiana State aren't the two best teams in the league.

Though, Indiana State may be a bit of an anomaly. Leading the nation in 3 pt % but in the 340s in 2 pt %. I'm not sure that's sustainable.

I don't think Drake is a good basketball team They did win 110-103 in double OT.

The one one positive we can achieve from this game, it gives us many opportunities to learn what Drake will do in given situations.

Probably not, but the league seems pretty wide open right now. It’s why there’s still hope for UNI this year if we can get our s&@/ together.

Interesting match-up Saturday night, pitting two former Iowa North Iowa Cedar League high school players (Devries at Aplington and Chris Jans from Wapsie Valley) as head coaches at Drake and New Mexico State. D+ is the surprise team of the Valley. Getting Norton as a grad transfer from Alabama-Birmingham at point guard solidified that team.

Norton and Tremmel Murphy are both really solid players for them as newcomers. Ellingson from Iowa has been semi-quiet so far, but had a really good game for them last night.

The Valley is tough to figure out so far. Valpo leads the conference, and had a nice road win at SIU today. Drake is showing glimpses of regaining their footing after loosing Norton. Loyola With a nice wi. Today over IL St as well.

Lunardi has Valpo as the only MVC team in the bracket as a #15 seed against Kansas.

Missouri State 55 Bradley 37. Yikes can't even score 40 points in a game?

I saw that. Bradley and Missouri St had roughly the same number of made field goals. What killed them was only making 2 - 3 pt attempts and shooting 3/10 from the FT line. 3 of 10???? That’s got to be one of the worst team FT percentages this year in all of D1.

Sorry, not sure if this is a joke or not. UNI was 3/10 on FT at one point during last night’s game. Thankfully hit their last 15/18 to finish with a more respectable percentage.

It wasn’t a joke. 3/10 was for the entire game. A portion of a game doesn’t have the same significance in a contest we managed to win despite it.
