Video coordinator and DOBO are both open. I'd imagine he fits better in the Video Role because he can be on the practice floor in that role. DOBO can't be.

Sonnen is great. This would be awesome."...the Northern Iowa men's basketball team reached the ultimate highs before hitting a devastating low. Unexpected success, followed by unimaginable failure. And they owned it -- all of it -- for the world to see. Like men. Like leaders. Like champions -- in a way no tournament bracket could ever define."

Though maybe him being here will be a bigger help in that regard.
Also him on the court during practice? Excellent.

One of the things I most remember about Sonnen is how hard he worked on his shot during his time at UNI...and how really good it was by the time he was done.
Pretty good example for the young guys of how you go from good to really good at the college level.Winning is more fun than losing.

Only real surprise from Jake's media day presser:
James Betz is going to play this year. Has played too well to redshirt, the body is ready and has shot the ball really well. Jake mentioned playing him at the 5 against slower posts because he can really step out and shoot the 3. Tuttle has also called him the best pure athlete we've had since Wes. This kid may end up being one hell of an under the radar find.
Betz, Carter, Kimmons will play.
Henry, Krogmann, Gauger, Wolf will redshirt.#MACtion
