Does Bowen remind anybody else of Wes + being a better shooter? I haven't seen much of him, only highlights, but being left handed, so quick and athletic, and slighty undersized, it just really reminds me of Wes.
To avoid confusion - my username is baseball (Cy Young award) related, NOT for the Cyclones.

Not at all. That's a real bad comp.

Wes was an elite athlete that eventually learned to play basketball. Bowen is an above average athlete that feels the game incredibly well and has been taught very, very well as to how to overcome being a little guy.

Seriously, watch Bowen get his chest into larger defenders. It's textbook and obviously something his dad 'beat' into him growing up.

Ya, Wes was more of a defensive first guard who developed an offensive game towards the end of his college career. Bowen is a polished offensive player who will probably never be what Wes was on the other end of the court. Both VERY useful pieces, but very different outside of the left-handed guard comp.

I will say after watching his state playoff games, Bowen sure does have some quick hands. I could see him being a sneaky defender in a few years
