I really liked our effort from the start. At times, the foul calling was confusing but we rolled with it. Our defense played well and has continued to improve. Our switching worked well I thought. I love seeing the ball in Bowen’s hands. He is very unselfish and is always looking for the open man.

Anyone know what is up with Betz? He hasn’t seen the floor for a while.

Nothing up just buried. Carter's growth has eaten up all his minutes and all of Henry's as well as long as Austin can play 8-12.

Steady recovery from the disastrous start.

But those wins contribute to making this one feel even bigger.
St Bonaventure does nothing as far as MVC standings go.
ISUb being a loss might have ended any momentum we had but ISUb isn't a top 4 team fighting for seeding positions with us.
          MSU come close

SIU was tied for second with us, had just lost to MSU - who already had 2 conference losses to SIU's 1. Beating SIU put both SIU and MSU a game back with the early tie break on them because of the H2H. Losing to SIU would have put UNI a game back of SIU and behind them in the early tie break scenarios. UNI also hasn't won in Carbondale in about 7 years, so going in there and getting the W is big, put on top it gave UNI second place and kept the team just 1 game back of Loyola with both games against them yet to come was massive.

As for the clock thing - the TV clock is literally never official in any capacity. Seeing a clip on twitter from an ESPN+ broadcast is the smallest amount of evidence you can have.

That SIU broadcast last night was less than stellar

Those 2 were...hard to listen to, to say the least

They were bad. Thank goodness we won that one.
"...the Northern Iowa men's basketball team reached the ultimate highs before hitting a devastating low. Unexpected success, followed by unimaginable failure. And they owned it -- all of it -- for the world to see. Like men. Like leaders. Like champions -- in a way no tournament bracket could ever define."

So it was a nice easy win, I see, just like the last few ones.
