Ok maybe I’m missing something where is bowen born, fouled out?
Oh, and let me make this perfectly clear to you people: you go to UNI, NOT IOWA. The Hawkeyes and their fans do not give a crap if you remain "true to them" or some stupid self-fulfulling bullcrap like that.-OTP

Good effort to make it a game. Have work to do to get to that critical top 4 seed for Arch Madness

And after all that it was the free throws that were the difference in the game. Ugh.
But great effort from the guys. We could've folded early.

Trainer Don Bishop was using one of those electric massagers on Bowen's leg at time-outs all last game, maybe the game before.

It took them shooting 65% in the first half to beat our freshmen and a walk on. Can't wait for the game up here.

We're more than fine. On to Wednesday.

You figure when he leaves without an obvious on floor injury its either REALLY bad or minor.

Truth is our run came with Bowen out of the game. Our defense was better and we were able to score without him vs a lesser defensive team.

Is it a strain? Really makes me wonder what the best way to handle this is. Would it be best to give him a week or two to get to 100%? You hate losing your best player, but at the end of the day, having him in March is the most important.

                          This seems purely circumstantial.

It reminds me of when people would say our team played better with AJ off last year. In spurts it may be true, but over the aggregate it's clear he(and Anderson) have been loads important over the course of the season.

I hate we lost. But this team really fought. Down 36-51 5 minutes into the second half and kept fighting.

One team shoots 14-31 from 3, the other shoots 5-16. In games like that, what’s the typical margin of victory?

                            In terms of ppp,
                            Team A has 16 possessions with a 0.94 ppp.
                            Team B has 31 possessions with a 1.35 ppp.

We won the turnover battle, which is trend for us and seems like it is becoming our identity.
I suppose we can shift our balance and defend outside more, but that will increase inside scoring. I tend to think with our personnel, we should emphasize turning the ball over even a little more. Take it before they have a chance to shoot.

You can’t even be mad. We are a team of freshmen and sophomores with only 9 healthy scholarship players (and only 8 that get used) and we are 5-3 in the league. Hard to be too upset about that. Just hope BB is OK. Thats the bigger concern to me.

And it took Belmont shooting 65% in the first half to beat that group.
