Well, I was as annoyed as anybody by the loss at Illinois St, but in hindsight it was a classic sandwich game - stuck right in between two big games. In his update yesterday, we had a 25% chance at the 4 seed. I think the tiebreaker after H2H is NET. If we win out, we're guaranteed no worse than the 5 seed - I believe we'd get the 4 seed unless Belmont wins AND passes us in NET. We would possibly be tied with SIU, but having beaten them twice, we'd have a leg up in them. Going into today our NET was 124 and Belmont's was 137. Even if SIU loses one of their next two (at Evansville and Bradley) it's very likely we're playing in Carbondale next weekend and the winner gets a bye. Ran across this for those curious on seeding, but I'm not sure it's correct. I put in SIU winning tomorrow and vs Bradley, with both us and Belmont winning out - it has SIU in the 4 seed due to NET in a three way tie. But I'm 99% sure we would get the 4 due to H2H (in a three way tie, we'd be 3-1, Belmont would be 2-2 and SIU 1-3).

Basically. We have to beat SIU next Sunday to get the 4. They've (most likely) got the NET tiebreaker. We'd have to have the sweep and we win the NET tiebreaker against Belmont.#MACtionComment

Great game in the McLeod this afternoon as the Panthers reminded us of what they're capable of. Hutson was knocking down 3s and raising the roof as he went back on defense, Landon Wolf was making plays on both ends and Tytan was a menace on the glass. The McLeod was rocking! Panther fans were making noise almost the entire game. What few D+ fans were there tried to make some noise but got drowned out. We looked and played tough! Let's keep it going!
I read Drake Nation for fun and noticed 2 things I find hilarious. 1. They think the refs screwed them based on ft shot discrepancy...when Drake's desperation fouls in the final 3 mins accounted for 14 UNI fts. And 2. They constantly refer to us as farmers or pig farmers... WTH they talking about? These clowns from the slums of Des Moines are making fun of UNI thinking we're hicks? UNI is abunch of rural Iowa kids studying education, business, speech path and accounting... But ok D+Comment
