  • Panther Coach Milestones

    I had a nice laugh to myself tonight, as I watched Farley collect his 100th career conference win, and Jake get his 300th career win. All this while there was a rather large debate about who the better (or worse?) coach is this week on another post.

    We should probably be pretty thankful with the quality of all the athletic programs at this university. Covid has been especially hard on these smaller universities, and we continue to be a pretty solid model.

    See that's the thing, as a whole, we are actually a very good athletics program relative to the budget. Good football, good basketball, better than good volleyball, better than good wrestling, conference front runners in all track and field, etc. The thing is that all of these programs have tasted greatness before reverting back to being good. That we even reached those heights in all these sports is impressive, but, understandably and not so understandably, we want to reach those heights again.

    But yeah, I also chuckled when I saw both milestones
