No video on TA but from what I've read he's long but skilled with the ball. Plays inside and out for the Barnstormers.
Winning is more fun than losing.

Based on his HS Sophomore stats he can't shoot yet. But that young is pretty meaningless

He led the team in shooting % at 54%. Granted that was better than his free throw %.

Shooting can mostly be taught. If he’s skilled and can play defense he can learn the other parts of the game to find place to succeed.

Well he is that, led his team in rebounds and was second in steals, trailing only a senior who is going to Minnesota State (backing up Juwan, as it were).

Tony Roe of Iowa Preps calls him "a long, supremely athletic combo forward who is rapidly improving."

Fine. I consider shooting to be jump shots/3 pointers. I would imagine those were mainly layups. Also not a knock or anything just an observation

And 2/14 from 3. Its clear he's not a good shooter yet. He's also just going to be a junior in HS so its not the end of the world or anything.

I'll reserve judgement on someone so young and would love to see how the summer stats came out, but hopefully not Juwan 2.0

He's 8 inches taller and his father isn't a massive douchebag.

Wow!! Busy times in Cedar Falls. Sounds like a great defender, and a great athlete. Iowa was talking to him already last fall.

Getting quality in state kids, getting them early, and getting kids that really WANT to be Panthers.

Feels like we could be on the verge of a really fun run these next several seasons...

Don’t know much about the kid but I’m beyond excited that the staff is going out and locking down kids who seem to be of good character and of a good skill level. The fact these are in-state kids is even better. let kids know that we want Iowa kids here and we’re making them a focus/ priority and maybe in the future we win some recruiting battles we shouldn’t because of that.
