Interesting. I wonder if he will head out to Utah where his brother is. I would gladly take Mason if the scholarship opens up.

    • I feel like the Madsen ship has sailed but if not. We would take him. Especially if we do get some of the rumored roster turnover.

        • Matthew Mors is transferring from Wisconsin, says that he wants to be closer to home, which is Yankton SD. Any chance we go after him, or have any chance at landing him?

          • I would watch that USD coach opening closely. If Lansing lands it USD is going to snag a lot of real good transfers.

They already got one, looks like Burns is going from UND to USD.

              • The USD that Lansing is looking at is San Diego not South Dakota.

That makes more sense. My bad

                  • Imagine agreeing to interview for an open USD job thinking you've got free, first-class airfare to sunny San Diego and instead receiving a bus pass to Vermillion.

                    • Murray St. coach leaving. Did I see one of their players mentioned before in the portal?

                      • With carter in the portal we need to land a impact player for sure. This could be a interesting season coming of AJ leaves.

                        • Even if AJ goes, I'll take a core of Born, Heise and Duax to build around.

                            Agree.

Hate to see Carter leave but obviously he wants to move...so best of luck.

Need to keep those 3 together and need to see if we can make a nice add or two in the portal. This isn't 2010...you can rebuild or upgrade quickly.

I mean...losing our best player and then arguably our second best player in a year where we didn't even get seeded in NIT seems pretty sky-fall-y to me.
