Jackson McAndrew, a very talented kid out of Minnesota who we offered awhile back, recently committed to Creighton. The Gophers' inability to really recruit the talent in their own state continues. Although, to be fair, I don't even think they offered him.
-
Dayton Forsythe committed to Oklahoma last week as well. He really blew up a bit and ended up getting offers from several high majors.

Jonathan Mekonnen has committed to Colorado State.
Niko continues to do really well in the Twin Cities.

Seems a touch underwhelming given how things are going lately but he still has a better offer list than probably 75% of the guys who have committed in the last 20 years.

Hornseth always seemed like the most realistic of our '24 offers. He seems like a solid add though.

Here's a fun youtube highlight video of Hornseth that was posted just a few days ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvfvaAKRyoA
Kid can get the ball in the bucket.

Holy cow, man. Hornseth is a player. No mistake that he is a big, though. He may be 6'8" but he looks like he could still be growing and he's already pretty thick. He has some skill, and I can absolutely see him running this offense at the top of the key. What a great time to be a Panther fan.

Jake is ensuring we don't have a year like last year again where we have zero size.
Another long, skilled kid. Just so excited right now.

Well I didn't see that coming. Seems like a good get though. I feel like a guy like him can learn a ton working with Tut.

Huh, was this guy on the radar at all? I don't remember seeing this name before.
Nvm I'm dumb, I see him now. Still, not someone I know much about.

I'm guessing it's the AJ news, personally. That's pretty big, even if it doesn't effect our current team, that's a former UNI player who's now expected to be developed into a rotational player on one of the NBA's best teams.
