Here goes the 2026 thread. We are having Nolen Anderson in for an unofficial visit tomorrow. He's 6'6" out of Eden Prairie, MN. He is extremely talented and athletic. His game reminds me quite a bit of Tucker Devries. His shooting stroke and ability to use both hands freely and easily is pretty impressive. He's also on one of the most talented AAU teams in Minnesota. I attached his Freshman year highlights below. He looks pretty special.

Get in on him early so that when he transfers from Washington or somewhere, we're one that he remembers

That was my hope for Will Tschetter when he went to Michigan.

We offered Christian Wiggins out of Wayzata yesterday after an unofficial visit. He's a 6'4" G and we appear to be his first offer.

It looks like we have some interest in Cameron Elwer. He's a 6'1" PG out of Ohio. The kid is a scorer. He has a great shot and has a knack for finishing around the rim. It will be interesting to see if he grows and blows up the next couple years.

We offered William Gerdes out of Cedar Falls yesterday as well. The coaching staff has been busy. He's already 6'8" and was the leading scorer for Cedar Falls as a sophomore. He plays mostly post at CF it looks like, but he has a nice shooting stroke from outside. He also has an offer from Nebraska and interest from Iowa, Iowa State, and Marquette.

Beat Nebraska out for Jalen. Might as well beat them out for Gerdes as well.

We were busy the last few days with the recruiting window opening. We were in contact with Joseph Mitchell III out of Cretin-Durham Hall, Christian Wiggins out of Wayzata (we offered earlier), Cedric Tomes from East Ridge, Jaidyn Coon from Storm Lake, and Nolen Anderson from Eden Prairie. We also offered Coon. Coon has also received offers from Iowa and TCU. He is very talented and a great athlete. He is also the son of former Panther Martin Coon. Here's hoping some legacy helps us out because the kid is special.

We had Nolen Anderson in for an unofficial visit last year, and I still think this kid would be so good. I think he has the potential to be an elite player in the Valley.

Tomes and Mitchell are both point guards around 6'1". They are both big time scorers and can shoot from just about anywhere. Tomes has offers from Minnesota and Iowa State, while Mitchell has an offer from Old Dominion.

Wiggins is a kid that we offered a long time ago. His shot isn't as natural as some of these other guys, but he is a great athlete at 6'4".

Good list here, a nice healthy mix of "pie in the sky" and "realistic good gets."

We offered Cedric Tomes today. He's a really talented score first PG who has been offered by Minnesota and Iowa State as well.

Odd that we were so late offering him, relatively speaking. Iowa State offered last fall. The strategy is clear though that we're aiming for the stars in hopes that we can maybe get 1 right away, and others might transfer down later on when we can get them.
