Ladies won tonight 76 to 60. Rucker led with 28 points including 6 three pointers. Tonight's game was moved up due to weather to 5pm. It was free admission. I imagine the crowd was very slim.

Crowd was slim indeed. I watched on ESPN+. I would guess there were less than 200 in attendance. Good to see pep band turned out in good numbers. Actually quite an exciting game until Rucker took control and then it was all Panthers. Has anyone had an update on Megan Maahs? She was on the bench in street clothes last night. So sad for her since she sat all season and the injury has cut into this season again. Megan is a good person and sure doesn't deserve this. Her presence on the court would be very helpful, even if just for spot minutes.

On the ESPN+ broadcast last night, Brad Wells said the Megan didn't have a tear (good news) but that the injury is on the same knee as she had surgery on last year. According to him (and Tanya), Megan might be back before the end of the season. That doesn't seem very precise but gives us hope we'll see her again this season.

On a side note, Southern Illinois knocked off Missouri State last night. Bradley ladies are undefeated and at top of conference. However, they have not played Missouri State, Drake or UNI yet.

Bradley and ILSU are a combined 25-7 overall. Tough-looking road trip next weekend.

Wow. Missed that about the rebounds. Coach Warren was raving about Wolf's performance in today's game in her post game radio comments.

Megan Maahs is not only playing, she is getting serious minutes. Start of 2nd half looks better for the Panthers.

Wheels just came off the wagon.....not sure if they will get them back on tonight. Return of Maahs may end up being the only good news from Peoria.

Ladies can't get anything going on offense tonight. 6 minute drought not scoring in the 2nd quarter. 7 minute drought in the 3rd quarter.

Ladies made a run at the end but fall to Bradley 61 to 47. Bradley still undefeated in conference play.

Some way to start the conference schedule - 5 of the 1st 7 games were on the road at Drake, at SIU, at MSU, at Bradley & at Il St. Road will get easier after Sunday, and with Maahs back, we'll be ready to make some noise.

Drake at Bradley, time to see if the Braves are for real. Their next game after that is at MSU. Their schedule has been soft compared with ours; OTOH we gave up 31 points & 25 rebounds to their two starting bigs, so they have some inside power.

Sunday's game will also be a tough one. Illinois State took Drake to overtime. In overtime, the Redbirds were held scoreless for 3 plus minutes. Drake did pull it out in the end. Another hard game tomorrow.
