I got my season tickets renewed today. There is no easy solution about the ticket prices for the iowa game. I think 30 to 40 bucks for the tickets would be a good price and have all concession stands open. Also hold back a large number of student spots so we have student representation.

No disagreement about the Des Moines event. That men's game in Carver would draw 3000 people, tops.
UNI season tix are very reasonable for the women. But how will forcing Iowa fans to sell out our season tickets help the UNI women? The money is negligible. All it will do is make it hard to get single-game tix for the casual fans throughout the rest of the season.
Having a premium single-game price for the Iowa game is not unreasonable, or without precedent. Forcing Iowa fans to buy UNI season tickets will backfire in the media and negatively impact the UNI program.

Back when the Iowa men came to the Dome, it was often a split crowd, but the UNI team seemed to feed off of that.
We don't owe Iowa a damn thing and they literally helped take money out of our pockets with Fran's bull****. Season tickets are $69 and Hawk fans can pay it. If we sell single games, we're guaranteeing that it will be a black and gold crowd. Tickets for their handjob fest in Des Moines are $60-75 for the lower bowl. $69 is not an unreasonable ask for better seats in Cedar Falls. (Nobody is going to that game to see the men).

Granted, it may end up being more Hawk and Caitlin Clark fans than home fans, but still.
Could provide a revenue boost if they put premium price on single game tickets for that game (might even drive some extra season ticket sales)

I think she could be a really nice player for us, dealt with some injuries that really slowed her at Iowa

Changing gears, are we in on any of the women’s transfers leaving Iowa State? That team seems to be mini-imploding.

Outside of a very talented and even more extraordinarily always whiny clark..iowa isn't built for that moment. It was clear without Clark on the floor they struggled to show any life of real offense. They ran thru the motion offense but no one knew who to take charge after a 2nd or third pass when that pass woulda been intended for Clark. It was the quietest high scoring output by her and well done by LSU. I had wondered why S. Carolina hadn't played that way that LSU defended her after having even more time to scout and prep for her.
On the flip side. I HATE Kim Mulkey with a passion (coaching wise). And agree she was allowed free reign of the arena as her coaching box today. There shoulda been a prop bet of how short of time she actually was in the coaching box today. Over/under had to be 8 minutes for sure.
Lastly tho. When a team is hot..they hot. And the bench came to play. Carson from State was amazing and i basically turned the game off after the redic. dagger bank 3 at the half. It was over really then. I only kept the game on to see if iowa could get multiple consecutive stops.
