Looks like the usual very solid roster for us. It will be interesting to see how Wetering fits in; I'd be tempted to say we really didn't need her if you could guarantee me no injuries. I was not unhappy to see Destinee Wells transfer from Belmont, nor Maggie Bair graduate from Drake. The Bulldogs still return Miller, Berg & Dinnebier, so I will guess they'll be the preseason favorite.

There's absolutely no way we should sell single game tickets to the Iowa game but I'm sure we will and won't make anywhere near enough money off of it...#MACtion

They are also planning to sell single game tickets to PSC members before any public sale starts to try to limit the Iowa incursion. That said, I suspect that Iowa fans may buy those $69 season tickets and just use them for the one game.If computers ruled college basketball the way they do football, we'd have skipped all this March Madness monotony and just waited a month for the Kansas-Kentucky title game. And watched Northern Iowa play Cornell in the Poulan Weedeater Bowl. ~ Dwight Perry The Seattle Times

Here's the email:
Dear Panther Fan
UNI Athletics has decided to do a presale for the UNI vs. Iowa women's basketball game scheduled for Nov. 12. We know that this will be one of the most anticipated games in the history of the McLeod Center and the demand for tickets will be very high. We want to give you, as a supporter of our women's basketball program, the first opportunity to purchase tickets.
The Panthers vs the Hawkeyes presale will be available on October 17! As a member of PSC, Women's Basketball season ticket holder, or a supporter of UNI Women's Basketball, we are giving you first access to purchase these tickets.
Presale is opening on Tuesday, October 17 at 10am and will run through Thursday, October 19th at 10am. This presale is only open for 48 hours and there are a limited number of tickets available, so get ready to claim your seats!
Bleacher seats (sections 102, 103, 104, 109, 112, and 200) are $40 and chairbacks (all other sections) are $50. There is a maximum of six (6) tickets per account. All tickets must be purchased online.
Tickets will be open to the general public at a later date.
If you have any questions, please call the Logan McNames at 319-273-2441. We look forward to seeing you in the McLeod Center!
Go Panthers!
