  • NDSU Dual

Looks like UNI was finally able to put together their best lineup. Quite a few wins over top 25 wrestlers, and we finally got Runyon back at 174. Needed this after mbb blew another late-game lead. Recap here

Some good duals coming up to end the season. Oklahoma State will be tough, but we should be able to hang with Iowa State, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.

Iowa State and Wisconsin are going to be more than tough.
Which winning percentage is better: 61% or 65%?

Absolutely. Have nothing better to do on a Sunday, so here's a breakdown of each weight for all 3 schools.

      125: Wisconsin #8, UNI #12, ISU #22
      133: Wisconsin #25, UNI #31, ISU unranked
      141: ISU #11, UNI #25, Wisconsin unranked
      149: Wisconsin #8, ISU #23, UNI #33
      157: ISU #1, Wisconsin #27, UNI unranked
      165: Wisconsin #8, UNI #19, ISU unranked
174: ISU #18, Wisconsin #22, UNI unranked, although Runyon was hovering around #20 prior to dropping out due to not wrestling, and he just beat #23
      184: UNI #4, ISU #9, Wisconsin unranked
      197: ISU #14, Wisconsin #22, UNI unranked
      285: Wisconsin #8, ISU #27, UNI unranked

All according to Intermat, not including results from this weekend. We get them both at home. Feels like we can hang right both schools if we can limit bonus points at 157 and 197 and pick up some of our own. Which is obviously what a lot of duals come down to, lol. Am I putting a lot of hope into the wrestling team due to most other men's sports underperforming? You bet I am.

What happened to Isley? Gordon is close lots of 1 point losses. Was Glaser slated to be our starter this year?

I think, ideally, Holschlag was intended to be the starter at 197, and I know that Gordon was planning on moving up to 285 anyway.
