I missed this but Mark Farley was on KXNO this week and was asked straight up if he wanted the AD job. I didn't hate the answer that he gave.
How great would it be to have Bob and Mark Farley making the decision on who the next AD is?...

Tulane really threw us with life raft here. Things have been rough for a while, it's nice to have some hope that things will be get better. Don't have a lot of add that hasn't been said. It's about restoring competence, putting out the fires, and getting...

I'm really skeptical of what the computers are doing to the Big 12 numbers right now. I got nothing against BYU but what are they doing in the top 10? I have actually followed this team for a while. Who have they recruited recently that suddenly makes...

Nice blowout win by the Trees over SIU, they are now just one spot behind Bradley on kenpom in the MVC race and just 3 behind the Hoosiers for 3rd place in Indiana. I really respect what Schertz is doing there and it's good for the league.

I'd say it's time for a new thread for improvements with a more optimistic title but until then I'll put this here.

Dang, Kenpom liked that one. UNI is all the way up to 90 after falling to 138. Negated all of the bad from the USF and UNC games.
Five top 100 Valley teams with Southern just outside and UIC looking like they will join once more of last...

I was hoping to draw Michigan - I believe they are the only team left in this field UNI has not played under Jake

Encouraged by the effort, if they can pull out a win tomorrow I will can it a fairly successful trip. I think UNI will be fine with time and will competing for a conference title in late February. Nothing really matters until conference play as long...

Not when you have big leads against non-flagship Texas schools....

This is what I meant to say. Don't get rid of interesting non-conference games entirely, but take the foot off the gas a little bit and find a balance. Put some wins on the board and give everyone something to feel good about. Keep the team relevant...

Historically I've agreed with you, but for me the calculation has changed given that the path to an at-large has become a pipe dream and the current recruits were 10 years old the last time UNI was able to do that (tho UNI was close in 2020).

I'm glad you felt this way. Not to throw 18 year old kids under the bus, but it felt to me that we got punched in the mouth early in the second half there and that was the end of the game from a mental competitiveness standpoint. Even if that was the...Last edited by nadf; 11-22-2023, 02:37 PM.

UNI was doing some things well but that first half was more about UNC throwing up bricks, many of them on good looks. Looks like that's over now...

I am sorry that many of us are in a position where we are happy about this. I think if you go back and find the original thread when he was hired, most on this board were excited and wanted nothing more than for him to succeed here. I haven't seen...

Can we delete this thread, just in case there's any two Tulane boosters sniffing around? Lol

How many years has the ice lounge been closed. Has it been a decade?

Loyola built everything on the backs of two unrecruited players that happened to turn into generational mid-major superstars and happened to play largely at the same time.
Meanwhile no one showed up to watch them play because no one in the...Last edited by nadf; 11-14-2023, 10:00 PM.
