  • Bubu Palo

Is allowed to resume activities with the ISU basketball team thanks to a Webster County judge.

Thing is, Jamie Pollard and ISU are "disappointed" that they weren't allowed to be the sole decision makers in this process. Tough situation when we aren't allowed to see the specifics of the case (which is the right thing, I'm just saying we don't know what happened).

I'm wondering how he's going to be received by the team and if he'll even play. I've never considered him to be anything special. Heck, I don't think he sees much more time than a Singleton if he wore our uniform.

This is insane. When a judge tells a school who they can and can't hold out of sports, we have a problem. Dropped charges do not equate to innocent. Leath felt that sufficient information existed to dismiss this player and he had more access than any of us will ever I assure you. I wonder what Hoiberg thinks, I mean does this decision force his hand to allow the alleged rapist to practice? Does he get to travel with the team? Can the judge force Hoiberg to play the alleged rapist? Lots of questions yet to be answered...

      Re: Bubu Palo

technically, i dont think they can force him onto the team. this only restored his eligibility to be on the team, which was taken away previously. a coach can kick someone off for any reason.

however, it seems to me like hoiberg intends to have him on the team.

the odd thing to me is that the judge basically accused them of keepnig on scholarship to avoid potential scholarship reductions.

'Rapist' is a bit of a strong term to throw around when we have no idea as to what happened, and all charges were dropped (I realize this doesn't mean he's innocent but it's innocent until proven guilty for a reason). Let's try to keep the emotions in check before we start some mudslinging

Re-read..alleged rapist. Bubu Palo is an alleged rapist. Maybe he is a rapist maybe not, but he is certainly an alleged rapist.

Some members of the team have tweeted very positively about Bubu being "back on the team."

i am guessing that ISU was scared ****less by the fact that this played out similarly to the first half of the pierre pierce situation.

Why are you and @hawkize so obsessed with Pierre Pierce?

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about or why you continually refer to someone I don't even know. You are a creepy person.
