    Re: TSN Week Five

The CSL rankings have never liked us - probably because Drake and ISU have been stinking it up so bad. At least ISU got off the schnied last week. Tougher game this Thursday vs TX.

Win Saturday and the polls will take care of themselves.

Can't remember who posted this exact Top 6 in the other thread but this is about what I expected except I thought there was a better chance that EIU & EWU would be switched

I'm a little surprised that McNeese only dropped two spots.

          Re: TSN Week Five

I think the poll is fair. There are too many east coast voters to let two Valley schools be ranked ahead of a CAA school. If I had a vote, I'd go NDSU, SHSU, EWU, UNI, Towson, EIU.

Teams that play no defense like EWU and EIU will not be difficult opponents come playoff time.

SHSU ran to a ton against EWU. Keep their offense off the field and you win...same for EIU.

                  Re: TSN Week Five

if SDSU can get spanked at home by NDSU and only drop one spot, I don't see why we should lose any spots for losing by 1 in Fargo.

Not that it's really going to matter, as some of those injuries are going to hinder us down the road.

Didn't Towson lose today? I'm not sure how UNI doesn't move up a spot

F-ing Towson! Two weeks in a row. Do they even play their starters in the first half? I'd bet we stay at #4 then. Not playing should not be seen as more impressive than losing by 1 pt to NDSU

Towson's first and only playoff appearance was in 2011. They haven't won a playoff game. Watching their game today, they are no better than 500 in MVFC.

I bet UNI is #9 next week.

/no reasoning. Just betting on the pollsters.

What's most impressive is that Towson had 4 points at one point.
