    Missouri State is up 20-0 over #15 SDSU at halftime in Springfield
    Illinois State is pounding Indiana State 38-0 at halftime in Normal
    #1 NDSU @ SIU is scoreless in the latter part of the 1st qtr, though SIU is moving into the redzone
    WIU @ #16 YSU kicks off at 3 pm

    no real relevance to UNI or the FCS playoffs, but Grambling was scheduled to play at Jackson State (JSU's homecoming game), but the Grambling players refused to make the trip, due to issues with how the administration is treating them.

    SIU up 10-0 over NDSU with about 9 min to go in the first half
    Illinois State must have run back the opening kickoff of the second half, as they scored a TD in the first 15 seconds to go up 45-0

      MSU up 27-7 over SDSU nearing the 4th quarter, surprising score there
      SIU over NDSU 10-7 at the half
      Illinois State has sent Indiana State back to being their pathetic former selves
      WIU and YSU scoreless halfway through the first

      SIU looks pretty real, and SDSU has no business being ranked.

        YSU just scored to go up 7-0
        SIU is definitely real. they might have had some early season issue, but they're getting things together.

        not sure if SDSU is facing injury issues or if they really are just not that good.

              doesn't really affect UNI, since we don't play them this year, but:
              Shakir Bell has left the Indiana State football team.

                  he's injured, but even with a senior with a season-ending injury, you don't normally see them announce that they've "left the team".

                  He's probably regretting coming back to InSU rather than trying for the NFL early, but there must be something else involved as well.
