My thoughts from the games I saw and my opinion from others.

UNLV is not really that good this year. Had a lot of turnover and grads. Not really worried about No. Colorado

Was not impressed at all with NDSU for the 2nd straight week. Crockett is good but their defense is below normal for their "hype". Still will be tough game. They will improve mightily I believe before our game.

Ill. St and SIU could be real contenders. I felt before the season started that SIU would be a dark horse this year. Was not surprised at all by the EIU game. The Redbirds are who we believe they are. Beat who they should. Will be interesting.

WIU, USD should still be cakewalks for us if we are who we believe WE are. Just lacking the talent and confidence.

Hawaii, at first thought..."dang, we should be able to win...and possibly going away"...I'm now a little more worried after watching their 2 games. This could be a toughie. Not worried about their RB, but their defense is better than advertised. They may not win many games this year but they are gonna be in a ton of close games.

SIU is a good team. A very solid team which is really nice to see again. EIU on the other hand I still think gets credit for beating up on a crappy, somehow overhyped OVC. They would be a mid - pack MVC team. No question.

Sounds like their RB, who was their main offensive threat, and one of their LBs, who was their defensive captain (similar to Jake Farley's role on our D), are both out.

Might increase UNI's chances of victory, but I hate to see injuries like that.

I watched that whole game...KSU is not that good. And ISU played very well after making tweaks from week 1 to 2.
