Not sure where to put this ...
Today I learned that in 1964, State College of Iowa (now UNI) fullback Randy Schultz out-gained ALL of SCI's opponents combined in the 1964 season:
1,027 yards (for Schultz) to 888 yards (SCI's 11 opponents, combined)
Schultz was named AP Little All-America (and would be again in '65), North Central Conference all conference (repeat, would again in '65) and NCC Most Valuable Back and Outstanding Back of the Pecan Bowl. He set school records for most rushing yards in a season and led the NCC in rushing for a second straight season (and would again in '65).
